The online magazine about young life in New York City has made a name for itself with its pithy writing and bold, editorial web design. It publishes stories on a theme, posting them across the quarter as an ‘issue.’

As it moves into print, we’re excited to have copies in our shop. This is the Risk Issue, ‘Risk doesn’t always promise reward, but it always promises a story. From losing it all for love to risking failure for the sake of growth, The Risk Issue dives into every flavor of fighting for something,’ is how the editors puts it.

Which means: a series of interviews with athletes and artists risking all with their daily performances; ex-GQ design director Rob Vargas on going freelance; a piece defending the drink text; and the three cover stars Anne Imhof, Tommy Dorfman and Chi Ossé on pushing the limits in their respective careers. All vividly presented on the page with bold type and big colours.
